Similar to the ST-36 series but with a short shank and wider gaps. The short shanks allow for the use of larger gap hooks without the worry of the trebles tangling with each other and, by design, the short shanks bend less. This treble also features a 150° PPP point position which spreads 2 points 150° apart instead of the typical 120° between the 3 points. Opening this gap allows the points to be positioned slightly further from the body of the hard lure, promoting hooksets that otherwise might not occur. Opening the gap to 150° also allows the hooks to cause less damage to lures and to keep the points sharper over time. This treble includes Owner's frictionless Silky Gray finish that encourages superior hook penetration through the gill plates and the hardest parts of the mouth. Other features include round bends and Super Needle Points. When rigging lures, always position the front treble with the point aligned with the eye, facing forward, and the rear point aligned backward. Ideal for crankbaits, jerkbaits, and topwater lures.
